After months of anticipation, the nominations for the 88th Academy Awards were announced in a live news conference from Beverly Hills early Thursday morning.
Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs was joined by actor John Krasinski and directors Guillermo del Toro and Ang Lee to announce the Oscar nominations in all 24 categories.
The 88th Academy Awards will take place on Feb. 28 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and will be televised live by ABC at 7 p.m. ET/ 4 p.m. PT.
Chris Rock is set to host.
