Oscar Winners George Clooney, Cate Blanchett, Eddie Redmayne Read Jimmy Kimmel’s Mean Tweets (Video)

Kevin Costner, Emily Blunt, Kevin Hart, Jessica Chastain, Richard Dreyfuss and Seth Rogen all read messages ripping them on social media

Jimmy Kimmel’s “Mean Tweets” never fails to delight late-night viewers, and in celebration of Hollywood’s upcoming big night he pulled out all the stops with A-list stars reading out vile social media messages about themselves.

George Clooney, Cate Blanchett, Eddie RedmaynePatricia Arquette, Sean Penn and Jessica Chastain were among the former Oscar winners being cruelly mocked on Twitter.

James Bond’s “Spectre” villain Christoph Waltz was told he was “pretty f–kin’ boring” by one Twitter user, who admitted they “had no idea who he is.”

Hollywood’s former most eligible bachelor Clooney was described as a “gross ratty old man,” while Arquette was criticized for her bad teeth and Redmayne was told he “looks like someone tried to erase his nose but couldn’t completely. I also think he looks permanently dehydrated.”

The “Danish Girl” actor admitted that he is thirsty “all the time.”

Fortunately Chastain appreciated being called “Julia Roberts‘ ghost,” so someone was happy at least.

Meanwhile, Emily Blunt has “a purdy mouth … which I would like to poop in,” wrote one disturbed tweeter.

Kevin Costner, Emily Blunt, Kevin Hart, Richard Dreyfuss and Seth Rogen also all got in on the offensive action in the “Mean Tweets – Movie Edition.”

The Academy Awards air on ABC on Sunday night, and after the show Kimmel has promised to have Best actor nominee and “Oscar loser Matt Damon, time permitting” on his post-Oscars special.

“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” airs at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC.
