Former CBS HR chief Anthony Ambrosio may have been forced out of CBS this week, but he will walk with an over $6 million golden parachute, according to an SEC filing.
Ambrosio, close ally of disgraced CBS chief Les Moonves, will receive more than $6.1 million, which will come in the form of a “Salary Severance Payment” of $1,875,000, a “2018 bonus” totaling “$1,302,083 and a “bonus severance” of $2,970,000.
In addition to that, the SEC filing also reveals that Ambrosio will be able to linger on at the company as a “consultant” and reap additional fees, potentially for years to come.
“For so long as you are ready, willing and able to provide consulting services through June 30, 2019, you will receive fees of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) per month,” it reads.
“In addition to the monthly consulting fee, you will be eligible to receive a bonus for 2019 based upon the Chief Executive Officer’s assessment of your performance as a consultant during the Consulting Period, which consulting bonus shall not exceed One Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars”

Reps for CBS declined to comment.
Ambrosio, who has been with CBS since 1985, will be replaced by the company’s newly announced “chief people officer” Laurie Rosenfield.
Ambrosio’s ouster comes amid continuing fallout over the demise of his longtime patron Les Moonves after a series of sexual misconduct allegations documented by the New Yorker’s Ronan Farrow. The company also parted ways with longtime “60 Minutes” chief Jeff Fager, who cited for sexual misconduct as well in Farrow’s reporting. Moonves himself could potentially land and even more gilded parachute reaching into the nine figures
