Ratings: CW’s ‘The Outpost’ Finale Settles for 587,000 Viewers

NBC’s “New Amsterdam” slips 16 percent in ratings from last week’s series premiere

The CW’s “The Outpost” concluded its run on Tuesday night, not that you’d know it from the show’s Nielsen ratings. NBC and CBS split primetime as “This Is Us” and “NCIS” did their things.

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.9 rating/8 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in total viewers with an average of 8.5 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Voice” at 8 p.m. posted a 1.8/8 and 9.2 million viewers. At 9, “This Is Us” landed a 2.4/9 and 8.8 million viewers. “New Amsterdam” at 10 dipped from last week’s series premiere to a 1.6/7 and 7.5 million viewers.

CBS was second in ratings with a 1.2/5 and first in viewers with 9.7 million. “NCIS” at 8 put up a 1.4/6 and 11.9 million viewers. At 9, “FBI” had a 1.2/5 and 9.4 million viewers. “NCIS: New Orleans” at 10 received 1.0/4 and 7.8 million viewers.

Fox was third in ratings with a 0.8/3 and fourth in viewers with 2.7 million. “The Gifted” at 8 had a 0.7/3 and 2.3 million viewers. “Lethal Weapon” at 9 got a 0.8/3 and 3.2 million viewers.

ABC was fourth in ratings with a 0.7/3 and third in viewers with 5 million. “Dancing With the Stars” from 8-10 averaged a 0.8/3 and 6.1 million viewers. A rerun followed.

Univision and Telemundo tied for fifth in ratings, both with a 0.4/2. Univision was fifth in total viewers with 1.3 million, Telemundo was sixth with 1.2 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.1/1 and in viewers with 567,000. After a repeat, the season finale of “The Outpost” settled for a 0.1/1 and 587,000 viewers.
