‘Game of Thrones:’ Watch The Hound and Tormund Sing a Pop Classic (Video)

Rory McCann and Kristofer Hivju covered The Mills Brothers’ ”Yellow Bird,“ and it’s a thing of beauty

“Game of Thrones'” Sandor Clegane (Rory McCann) aka The Hound, has many talents: babysitting wayward Stark children, being afraid of fire… and singing covers of The Mills Brothers.

Kristofer Hivju, who plays wildling Tormund Giantsbane, posted a video to his Instagram account Thursday with the caption “When you’ve had to much trailer time… #behindthescenes #got7.”

In the video, which you can watch below, he and McCann sing a rendition of “Yellow Bird,” which was popularized by The Mills Brothers in the early 1960s. Hivju periodically interjects McCann’s singing and guitar-playing with his own… well, you’ll see.

Compare the actors’ version to the original:

While both actors appear to be in hair and makeup for the show, they’re not in full costume–but they are wearing heavy-looking jackets, so we might be able to assume they made this fun little video while waiting to film one of the snowy scenes we’ve seen this season.

The last we saw the two on the show, they were escaping The Knight King’s horde of wights from beyond the wall along with Jorah Mormont (Iain GLen) on the back of Drogon, thanks to Daenerys (Emilia Clarke).

The Season 7 finale of “Game of Thrones” is Sunday at 9 p.m. ET.
