Mark Wahlberg has branched out to the auto industry.

The actor and comedian, known for his roles in “Boardwalk Empire” and “Transformers,” has purchased a Chevrolet dealership in Columbus, Ohio, alongside his business partner Jay Feldman.

“With hard work, dreams come true. I’ve always been a car fanatic, and now I’m able to be a part of such an amazing, iconic American brand,” Wahlberg said in a video posted to his Facebook page.

In a statement on the dealership’s website, Wahlberg emphasized that he would be directly involved in the operations of the dealership.

“Entertainers endorse products all the time. But this is different. This is MY dealership – Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet. And it goes well beyond the sign,” he wrote. “By partnering with my friend Jay Feldman, of Feldman Chevrolet, one of the country’s largest Chevrolet dealers, we’ll guarantee the biggest inventory and the best selection of Chevrolets.”

“The Wahlberg brand is all about Americana,” Feldman said in a statement. “Joining forces to sell and service Chevrolets with the magnetic draw of the Mark Wahlberg name allows us to do something special for the state of Ohio and the greater Columbus area.”

The Chevy dealership is the latest addition to Wahlberg’s portfolio of business interests, which includes a movie production company, a health and wellness company, a water line with music mogul Diddy and a Wahlburgers restaurant chain that is currently franchised throughout 14 U.S. states and Canada.

Wahlberg’s reps did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.
