Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man just might be the one and only Marvel hero capable of destroying supervillain Thanos… that is, if you buy the fan theory that makes the actor cringe.
During a recent appearance on “The Graham Norton Show,” Rudd was asked about a fan theory of how Ant-Man could kill Thanos.
“I think I know the theory you’re talking about. Yeah, A lot of people have asked me recently if I shrink down and go, uh…” Rudd said, stumbling over his words. “The theory is called the Thanus,” he said, emphasizing the “anus” part. “And go… into Thanos… in a certain orifice… and then grow giant size.”
Yep, that would definitely kill the bad guy, Norton agreed with a laugh.
“But why not the ear or the nose? I mean, why does it have to be…?” Rudd asked.
Thanks, Paul, for getting to the bottom of that theory. So to speak.
We’ll have to wait to see if that scenario rings true when “Avengers: Endgame” hits theaters on April 26.
