Paul Rudd Looks ‘Stupid’ Smoking a Cigar in ‘Prince Avalanche’ Clip (Video)

In his last film role, deceased actor Lance LeGault ("Stripes") tells Rudd why he shouldn't smoke

Paul Rudd looks stupid smoking a cigar in a new clip from director David Gordon Green's latest indie, "Prince Avalanche."

Rudd and co-star Emile Hirsch play two highway road workers spending the summer of 1988 away from their city lives in the country where they keep busy painting yellow road lines when not butting heads with each other.

When a truck driver, played deceased character actor Lance LeGault ("Stripes"), stops to give them a drink, Rudd smokes a cigar against LeGault's advice to quit smoking.

"Yeah, I know it's bad for ya," Rudd says.

"No, I mean you shouldn't smoke. You look stupid," LeGault clarifies.

"Prince Avalanche," which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, begins a limited theatrical release on Aug. 9.
