‘Person of Interest’s’ Al Sapienza to Join CW’s ‘Tomorrow People’

He will guest star on the new sci-fi drama with the possibility of recurring

We may learn more answers to the mystery behind the existence of The CW's "The Tomorrow People" with the addition of a new character.

Al Sapienza will guest star on the new sci-fi series as Dennis Coburn, Cara's (Peyton List) father. While only signed for one episode, there's a possibility the role will recur, TheWrap has learned. He will make his first appearance on Episode 103.

Most recently, Sapienza appeared in the recurring role of Det. Raymond Terney on CBS's "Person of Interest." His numerous television credits include "Arrow" and Netflix's "House of Cards." He will be starring in the upcoming movies "Godzilla" and "The Last American Guido."

"The Tomorrow People," which follows a group of young people who have somehow evolved to have paranormal abilities, stars List, Robbie Amell, Luke Mitchell, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino and Madeleine Mantock.

It hails from Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios, with executive producers Greg Berlanti, Julie Plec and Phil Klemmer with co-executive producer Melissa Kellner Berman. Danny Cannon directed and served as executive producer on the pilot, which was written by Klemmer.

Sapienza is represented by SDB Partners and Characters Talent agency.
