The opening first four minutes of “Spider-Man: Homecoming” featuring Peter Parker’s vlog is now online. Check out the clip above.
In true millennial fashion, Peter (Tom Holland) vlogs his experience from his fight with the Avengers in “Captain America: Civil War.” Peter documents his journey from the moment Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) picked him up in Queens, New York, to fly him privately to Germany where the iconic airport battle scene in “Civil War” took place.
The clip does seem like a clever workaround for Sony so that they didn’t have to pay Disney for using footage from “Civil War” along with not paying those actors from the film.
Sony had no comment about the clip.
“Spider-Man: Homecoming” opens July 7.
