Piers Morgan is fired up about Clay Aiken over something involving President Trump.

The British TV personality, who competed alongside Aiken on “Celebrity Apprentice,” called the singer’s claim that former host Donald Trump didn’t decide who was fired on the reality series “nonsense.”

“This is nonsense,” Morgan, who won Season 7 of the series, tweeted Wednesday, “I saw him make the decisions many times over many seasons.”

“American Idol” alum Aiken, who competed on “Celebrity Apprentice” in 2012, said in a recent interview that Trump “didn’t make those decisions, he didn’t fire those people.”

Aiken elaborated that, on the series, there “used to be a little thing right on his desk that looked like a phone — he pretended it was a phone — but it was actually a teleprompter where the producers were sending him notes … he didn’t know that people were getting in fights during the week while we were doing these tasks, the producers did. And they’d send him notes and he’d say, ‘Oh you two didn’t get along.’”

Aiken, who noted that he believes Trump is a “nice guy,” nonetheless added that Trump is “probably leading the country in the same way that he did ‘The Apprentice.’”

“I think to myself, the man as president definitely has a teleprompter sitting on his desk right now with people telling him, ‘Well such and such is in the healthcare bill, don’t say this.’ I feel like half the time his teleprompter has broken down as president and he doesn’t know what’s going on,” Aiken suggested.

Trump hosted the first 14 seasons of the “Apprentice” franchise. However, NBC severed ties with Trump in 2015 after he made “derogatory” comments about immigrants while announcing his run for president.

“At NBC, respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values,” the network said in a  statement at the time. “Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump.”
