‘Pretty Little Liars’ Star Tyler Blackburn Joins Spinoff ‘Ravenswood’

"Ravenswood" will premiere in October, after "Pretty Little Liars" Halloween episode

Tyler Blackburn, who plays  Caleb Rivers on ABC Family's "Pretty Little Liars," has signed on for the show's spinoff "Ravenswood," the network said Tuesday.

"Ravenswood" will be centered in a town of the same name, not far from the "Pretty Little Liars" setting of Rosewood, Penn. Ravenswood, which has suffered under a deadly curse for generations, is visited by five strangers who find themselves connected to the curse and dig into the town's mysterious, terrible history in order to save themselves.

The spinoff will premiere in October, with the series being set up in the "Pretty Little Liars" Halloween episode. In that episode, Blackburn's Caleb will travel to the cursed town. The "Ravenswood" premiere will air directly after the "Pretty Little Liars" episode.

Like "Pretty Little Liars," "Ravenswood" is produced by Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television. I. Marlene King, Oliver Goldstick, Leslie Morgenstein and Joseph Doughtery executive produce both series.

"Pretty Little Liars" premieres its fourth season June 11 on ABC Family.
