PYE Announces Rebrand, Changes Name to Artists First

Management and production company behind “Black-ish” unveils new logo

Management and production company Principato-Young Entertainment announced a rebrand on Thursday, changing their name to Artists First. Peter Principato remains the CEO and President of the company with Electus owning a majority stake.

The company has produced films like “Central Intelligence” and “Kenau,” as well as TV shows like “Black-ish” and “The Last O.G.” The company’s clients include Jordan Peele, Kenya Barris, F Gary Gray, Tiffany Haddish and Will Arnett.

“On behalf of my partners at Artists First, I am excited to announce this name change which is reflective of the evolution of our organization,” Principato said in a statement.

“We are strongly dedicated to building our clients’ careers focusing on their creative endeavors, businesses and production entities in order for them to achieve their highest artistic goals,” he continued. “Additionally, we will continue to strive to identify, develop and produce high quality productions that we believe in.”
