Following a stellar Thursday night performance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” rapper Meek Mill ended his night in jail.

According to ABC 7 New York, the Philadelphia rapper (real name Robert Rihmeek Williams) was arrested late Thursday night for “popping wheelies and generally driving recklessly in New York City” on a dirt bike. He was later charged with reckless endangerment.

The area in which Meek Mill was arrested has seen problems with off-road vehicles, reports ABC7NY. Residents of the Inwood neighborhood have made frequent complaints about “ATVs and other off road vehicles driving recklessly on the streets.”

Meek Mill, along with a group of riders, had reportedly caused a disturbance in the area. Investigators found footage on social media of the rapper popping wheelies on a dirt bike without a helmet. Police found Meek Mill during a traffic stop at the intersection of 10th Avenue and Dyckman Street, where they arrested him, says ABC7.

ABC7 also points out that it is illegal to ride an off-road vehicle of any kind in New York City.
