Ratings: ’24’ Returns With Decent Debut

CBS’ “2 Broke Girls” hits all-time low in season finale

Fox’s “24: Live Another Day” returned with a decent 2.5 rating in the advertiser-sought 18-49 demographic, while CBS’ “2 Broke Girls” closed the season with its lowest rating yet.

NBC topped the night in the demo, and ABC finished first in viewers.

NBC was first in ratings with a 2.9 rating/9 share in the key demo and second in viewers with an average of 10.7 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Voice” at 8 p.m. was the top-rated show of the night, with a 3.0/9 — tying a Monday low — and 10.8 million viewers. “The Blacklist” at 10 earned a 2.7/8 and 10.6 million viewers.

Fox was second in ratings with a 2.5/8 and third in viewers with 8 million. “24: Live Another Day” was the only show on the schedule.

ABC was third in ratings with a 1.8/5 and first in viewers with 11.5 million. “Dancing With the Stars’ at 8 received a 1.8/6 — down 31 percent from last week — and a night-high 12.7 million viewers. “Castle” at 10 got a 1.6/5 — down 20 percent — and 8.9 million viewers.

CBS was fourth in ratings with a 1.3/4 and in viewers with 5.1 million. At 8, the “2 Broke Girls” season finale hit a series low 1.9/7 — down 17 percent from last week and 37 percent from last season’s finale — and 6.5 million viewers. “Friends With Better Lives” dipped to a 1.6/5 and had 5 million viewers. “Mike & Molly” fell to a 1.8/5 and 6.5 million viewers.

Univision was fifth in ratings with a 1.2/4 and in total viewers with 2.9 million.

Telemundo and The CW tied for sixth in ratings, each with a 0.4/1. Telemundo was sixth in viewers with 1.2 million, CW was seventh with 973,000.

For CW, “Star-Crossed” at 8 had a 0.3/1 and 933,000 viewers. “The Tomorrow People” season finale at 9 got a 0.4/1 and 1 million viewers.
