Ratings: ‘Bachelor Pad’ Gives ABC a Perfect 10

“Bachelor Pad” led ABC to its 10th straight Monday night primetime ratings win

The series premiere of "Bachelor Pad" filled in nicely for "The Bachelorette" and kept ABC rolling with its 10th straight Monday night ratings victory.

'BACHELOR' PARTY Season six of "The Bachelorette" ended Aug. 2 after leading ABC to nine straight Monday primetime ratings wins. It's being replaced with "Bachelor Pad," a spinoff that features ex-contestants from past editions of "Bachelorette" and "The Bachelor" living together in a sexy, sexy mansion.

"Bachelor Pad" got off to a great start last night with a 2.2 rating/7 share in the key adults 18-49 demographic from 8-10 p.m. Ratings for "Bachelor Pad's" debut were down 21 percent from  the premiere of "The Bachelorette" season six, but it did well enough to land ABC in the top spot for the night with an overall average of 2.1/6 from 8-11 p.m. "Bachelor Pad" was followed by the season two premiere of "Dating in the Dark," which posted a 1.8/5.

SECOND HELPINGS CBS was a close second with a night of reruns. Repeats of "How I Met Your Mother," "Rules of Engagement," "Two & a Half Men," "Big Bang Theory" and "CSI: Miami" combined to give CBS a 1.9/6 average from 8-11 p.m.

'LAST COMIC (BARELY) STANDING' Spanish-language broadcaster Univision landed in third place Monday night. Univision posted a 1.6/5 average from 8-11 p.m. with novelas "Hasta El Dinero Nos Que Separe" and "Soy tu Duena" leading into an episode of the talk show "Cristina." Fox took the number four spot with the "Teen Choice Awards" bringing in a 1.5/5 primetime average. NBC was in last place for the night with a re-run of "America's Got Talent" and the season seven finale of "Last Comic Standing" combining for a 1.4/4 average. "Last Comic Standing," which barely dodged the cancellation bullet this season, posted a 1.5/4, its lowest numbers ever.
