Ratings: CBS’ ‘CSI’ and ‘Criminal Minds’ Fall to New Series Lows Following Reruns

“American Idol” slips further in Week 2

Fox’s “American Idol” slipped in the ratings following last week’s premiere, but the network still landed a comfortable primetime Wednesday win.

Following repeats, CBS’ “CSI” and “Criminal Minds” both dipped to new series lows last night. ABC and NBC’s all-new lineups on the other hand saw ratings increases across-the-board.

Fox was first in ratings with a 4.0 rating/11 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and first in total viewers with an average of 13.2 million, according to preliminary numbers. “American Idol” was the only show on its schedule, Wednesday’s highest-rated and most-watched program.
