“American Ninja Warrior” led NBC to a win Monday night, besting ABC and “The Bachelorette” as well as Fox and “So You Think You Can Dance.”
NBC’s agility competition averaged a 1.5 rating in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demo and 6 million total viewers in its airing from 8-10 p.m.
NBC tied with ABC for first in ratings with a 1.3, but was first in total viewers with 5.3 million viewers. Aside from “American Ninja Warrior,” its airing of “Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge” in the 10 p.m. hour garnered a 1.1 rating and 3.9 million viewers.
ABC’s 1.3 rating was accompanied by 5 million total viewers. After “The Bachelorette,” which got a 1.4 and 5.4 million viewers for the 8-10 p.m. hours, the network aired a rerun of “Celebrity Family Feud.”
Fox came in third in ratings with a 0.7 and fourth in total viewers with 2.8 million. At 8 p.m., “So You Think You Can Dance” got a 0.8 rating and 3.1 million viewers, while at 9 p.m., “Superhuman” got a 0.7 and 2.5 million viewers.
CBS, which aired reruns the entire night, came in fourth in ratings with a 0.6 but third in total viewers with 3.9 million.
