Ratings: ‘America’s Got Talent’ Edges ‘Master Chef,’ NBC Tops Fox

"AGT" carries NBC to second consecutive winning night

A new episode of "America's Got Talent" was the highest-rated and most-watched show on Wednesday night, handing NBC the outright victory.

The Peacock was first in ratings with a 1.7 rating/5 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and first in total viewers with an average of 6.9 million, according to preliminary numbers.

After a rerun of "America's Got Talent" at 8 p.m., the new episode at 9 earned a 2.3/7 and 10 million viewers. "Camp" at 10 got a 1.2/4 with 4.2 million viewers.

Fox was second in ratings with a 1.6/5 and third in total viewers with 4 million. After a "Master Chef" encore at 8, a new episode at 9 pulled in a 2.2/7 and 5.4 million viewers.

CBS was third in ratings with a 1.4/4 and second in total viewers with 5.7 million. "Big Brother" at 8 earned a 2.0/7 with 6.1 million viewers. Reruns followed.

Univision was in fourth in ratings with a 1.2/4 and in total viewers with 3.3 million.

ABC was fifth in ratings with a 0.8/3 and in viewers with 3.2 million. After repeats, "Nightline: The Lookout" at 10 earned a 0.9/3 with 3.5 million viewers.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.5/2 and in total viewers with 1.1 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and in total viewers with 973,000, airing entirely repeats.
