Despite hitting its lowest Tuesday rating ever, "America's Got Talent" was still the highest-rated and most-watched show in primetime.
NBC was first in ratings with a 1.8 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and first in total viewers with an average of 6.8 million, according to preliminary numbers.
Following a rerun, "America's Got Talent," was the highest-rated and most-watched show of the evening, though it was the show's lowest Tuesday telecast ever. The talent competition received a 2.2/6 at 9 p.m. and 8.4 million viewers.

Univision was second in ratings for the second straight day, with a 1.3/4. The network was fourth in total viewers with 3.5 million.
Fox was third in ratings with a 1.2/4 and in total viewers with 3.8 million viewers. "So You Think You Can Dance" at 8 was the only show on the primetime schedule.
ABC was in fourth in ratings with a 1.0/3 and fifth in total viewers with 3.4 million. "Extreme Weight Loss" at 8 received a 1.3/4, and 3.7 million viewers. A repeat followed.
CBS was in fifth in ratings with a 0.8/3, but second in viewers with 6.3 million, airing entirely repeats. The Time Warner Cable blackout continues in New York, Los Angeles and Dallas.
The CW was sixth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in total viewers 1.6 million. "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" earned a 0.8/3 and 2.3 million viewers at 8. Following an encore showing, "Capture" at 9 got a 0.4/1 and 1 million viewers.
Telemundo was seventh in ratings with a 0.5/1 and in total viewers, with 1.1 million.
