Ratings: ‘Bachelorette’ Down, But Still Tops; ‘Law & Order’ Franchise Takes a Hit

“Criminal Intent” and “Law & Order: LA” drop double digits, while “MasterChef” creeps up to second place

Despite a 4 percent dip, ABC's "The Bachelorette" took the evening's top numbers on Monday, while Fox's "MasterChef" showed slight gains to take the second-place slot, according to preliminary numbers.

"The Bachelorette," from 8 to 10 p.m., drew a 2.5/7 in the adults 18-49 demographic and 7.9 million total viewers. "Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition" closed the night for ABC with a 1.9/5 in the demo, down 14 percent compared to its last original episode, and 5.4 million total viewers.

Fox began the night with a repeat of "MasterChef" at 8, followed by an original episode the next hour, which was up 5 percent over last week with a 2.2/6 in the demo, taking the No. 2 spot of the night, and 4.9 million total viewers.

NBC ran an "America's Got Talent" repeat at 8, followed by "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" at 9, which dropped 20 percent from its last original airing, receiving a 0.8/2 in the demo and 3.9 million total viewers. "Law & Order: Los Angeles" closed the evening at 10 with a 1.0/3 in the demo, down 29 percent compared to its last original, and 4.6 million total viewers.

CBS ran repeats throughout the evening.
