CBS won the night overall on Sunday thanks to "Big Brother," while "The Bachelorette" experienced a drastic slide compared to the series' last regular episode, according to preliminary numbers.
"Big Brother" at 8 p.m. drew the night's top ratings in the adults 18-49 demographic, rising 12 percent over last week's episode with a 2.8 rating/9 share and 8 million total viewers. The 9 p.m. hour saw the conclusion of "Big Brother," which was delayed several minutes due to President Obama's address, followed by "Same Name," which took a 1.4/4 in the demo and 4.4 million total viewers. The network's evening closed with a "CSI: Miami" repeat.
At ABC, "The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All" special at 9 drew a 1.6/4 in the demo — a 45 percent decline from the last airing of "The Bachelorette" last Monday at 8, pulling a 1.6/4 in the demo and 5.4 million total viewers. Nonetheless, the special provided ABC with a three-year summertime high in the time slot for entertainment programming. The remainder of the network's roster consisted of repeats.
NBC ran repeats throughout the evening, with the exception of "The Marriage Ref" at 10, which was down 10 percent versus last week with a 0.9/2 in the demo and 2.8 million total viewers.
Fox ran repeats throughout the evening.
