Ratings: CBS’s ‘The Briefcase,’ ABC’s ‘Celebrity Wife Swap’ Wilt on Wednesday

Steady Fox finishes first in key demo

The Briefcase

Fox finished first on Wednesday in the advertiser-sought 18-49 demographic thanks to steady performances from “MasterChef” and “Bullseye.”

ABC’s “Celebrity Wife Swap” and CBS’s “The Briefcase” didn’t fare quite as well, falling 33 percent and 20 percent in the demo week-over-week, respectively.

Fox was first in ratings with a 1.2 rating/5 share in the main broadcast TV demo and second in total viewers with an average of 3.8 million, according to preliminary numbers.

NBC was second in ratings with a 1.1/4, but fourth in viewers with 3.6 million, airing only reruns.

ABC was third in ratings with a 0.9/3 and in viewers with 3.7 million. Following repeats, “Celebrity Wife Swap” at 10 p.m. had a 0.8/3 and 3 million viewers.

CBS and Univision tied for fourth in ratings, both with a 0.8/3. CBS was first in viewers, however, with 5.5 million. Univision was fifth in viewers with 2.1 million.

For CBS, “The Briefcase” at 8 got a 0.8/3 and 3.7 million viewers. Reruns followed.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in viewers with 1.3 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.3/1 and in viewers with 900,000, airing just repeats.
