Ratings: Donald Trump Inauguration ’20/20′ Special Loses to ‘Blacklist’

Thursday’s “20/20” special on the lead-up to the Donald Trump inauguration ceremony lost in the key demo ratings to a new episode of “The Blacklist.”

So much for “ratings machine” Trump, huh?

“20/20: The Trumps Go to Washington” drew a 0.9 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic and 5.1 million viewers at 10 p.m. “The Blacklist” pulled in a 1.0 rating and 4.8 million viewers. In addition, the Trump special got beaten in total viewers by “Pure Genius,” which averaged 5.3 million viewers and a 0.8 rating.

CBS finished first for the night with a 1.7 rating and 8.2 million viewers. “The Big Bang Theory” was the top show of the night, averaging a 3.3 rating and 15 million viewers at 8. “The Great Indoors” followed at 8:30 with a 1.7 rating and 8.1 million viewers. “Mom” pulled in a 1.7 rating and 8.5 million viewers at 9. “Life in Pieces” managed a 1.5 rating and 6.9 million viewers at 9:30, followed by “Pure Genius” at 10.

NBC tied for second in the demo with a 1.1 rating and came in second in total viewers with 5 million. The one-hour season finale of “The Good Place” aired at 8 with a 1.1. rating and 3.9 million viewers. “Chicago Med” followed at 9 with a 1.2 rating and 6.3 million viewers. “The Blacklist” closed things out at 10.

Fox tied for second in the demo with a 1.1 rating but finished fourth in total viewers with 3.2 million. “Hell’s Kitchen” scored a 1.3 rating and 3.9 million viewers at 8. “My Kitchen Rules” got a 0.9 and 2.5 million viewers at 9.

ABC finished fourth in the demo with a 0.8 rating but third in total viewers with 3.9 million. Repeats of “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Scandal” aired at 8 and 9, followed by “20/20” at 10.

Univision finished fifth overall with a 0.7 rating and 2.1 million viewers.

Telemundo finished sixth with a 0.6 rating and 1.4 million viewers.

The CW came in seventh with a 0.2 rating and 916,000 viewers, airing only repeats.
