Ratings: Fox’s ‘Bones’ Rattles to New Series Low

ABC’s “American Crime” sees 18 percent drop; CBS tops Thursday

Fox’s “Bones” fell to a new series low on Thursday, as CBS topped the night outright. As a result, the net slipped to fifth in the key demo, behind Univision.

For ABC, “American Crime” slipped 18 percent in primetime. A special-slotted “Grey’s Anatomy” at 9 p.m. posted decent numbers, however.

“The Big Bang Theory” was the top show overall again. Following that sitcom, “The Odd Couple” ticked up 11 percent.

CBS was first in ratings with a 2.0 rating/7 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 9.3 million, according to preliminary numbers. “Big Bang” at 8 earned a 3.4/13 and 14.6 million viewers. At 8:30, “The Odd Couple” received a 2.1/7 and 9.9 million viewers. “Mom” at 9 posted a 2.0/7 and 9.2 million viewers. Following a rerun, “Elementary” got a 1.2/4 and 6.9 million viewers.

ABC was second in ratings with a 1.4/5 and in viewers with 5.5 million. Following a rerun, “Grey’s” had a 2.1/7 and 7.3 million viewers. “American Crime” dipped to a 0.9/3 and 4.4 million viewers.

NBC and Univision tied for third in ratings, both with a 1.0/3. NBC was third in total viewers at 4.6 million, Univision was fifth with 2.8 million.

For NBC, after repeats, “Dateline: Real Blacklists” received a 1.2/4 and 6.9 million viewers in its time-period premiere.

Fox was fifth in ratings with a 0.9/3 and fourth in viewers with 4.2 million. “Bones” at 8 got a 1.0/4 and 5 million viewers. “Backstrom” at 9 had a 0.8/3 and 3.4 million viewers.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.5/2 and in viewers with 1.3 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.3/1 and in viewers with 1 million, airing entirely reruns.
