Ratings: Fox’s ‘Wayward Pines’ Grows 33 Percent in Finale

Fox’s “Wayward Pines” grew 33 percent with its season — and possibly series — finale in the main 18-49 demographic. Its 1.2 rating tied a prior high.

Meanwhile, ABC’s “Astronaut Wives Club” and “Mistresses” fell hard hard from the prior week. As a result, the network tied for sixth in ratings with Telemundo, despite airing all originals.

CBS was first in ratings with a 1.4 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 5.6 million, according to preliminary numbers. Following reruns, “Big Brother” at 9 p.m. earned a 1.8/7 and 5.8 million viewers. “Under the Dome” at 10 received a 1.0/4 and 4.6 million viewers.

NBC and Fox tied for second in ratings, both with a 0.9/4. NBC was second in total viewers with 4.6 million; Fox was fourth with 3 million.

For NBC, “Food Fighters” at 8 had a 0.8/3 and 3.5 million viewers. “Dateline Mystery” at 9 got a 1.0/4 and 5.2 million viewers.

For Fox, “Boom” at 8 had a 0.6/3 and 2.2 million viewers. “Wayward Pines” at 9 had a 5 share and 3.9 million viewers.

Univision was fourth in ratings with a 0.8/3 and fifth in viewers with 2 million.

ABC and Telemundo tied for sixth in ratings, both with a 0.7/3. ABC was third in total viewers with 3.5 million; Telemundo was sixth with 1.7 million.

For ABC, “Astronaut Wives Club” at 8 fell 33 percent to a 0.6/3 and had 3.8 million viewers. “Mistresses” at 9 dropped 22 percent from last week to a 0.7/3; it got 2.9 million viewers. “Rookie Blue” did manage to rise at 10, with a 0.8/3 and 3.8 million viewers.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and in viewers with 765,000. “Beauty and the Beast” at 8 received a 0.2/1 and 985,000 viewers. “Dates” at 9 had a 0.1/1 and 571,000 viewers. A second episode at 9:30 got a 0.1/0 and 519,000 viewers.
