Ratings: ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ Finale Serves Up a Win for Fox

CBS comes in second, with its "Big Brother" the highest-rated show on the night

There weren't too many cooks in the kitchen for Fox to earn the win on Thursday night, despite stiff competition from runner-up CBS.

Fox was first in ratings with a 2.2 rating/7 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in total viewers with an average of 5.4 million, according to preliminary numbers. A special "Hell's Kitchen" at 8 p.m. earned a 2.0/7 with 5.2 million viewers. The season finale at 9 brought a 2.3/7 with 5.7 million viewers.

CBS was second in ratings with a 1.7/6 and first in total viewers with 6.3 million. In between reruns, "Big Brother" was the highest-rated show of the evening with a 2.4/8. It had 6.8 million viewers.

Univision was third in ratings with a 1.4/5 and fourth in total viewers with 3.7 million.

ABC was in fourth in ratings with a 1.0/3 and third in total viewers with 4.7 million. "Wipeout" at 8 earned a 1.0/4 and 3.8 million viewers. "Motive" at 9 received a 0.8/3 and 4.7 million viewers. "Rookie Blue" at 10 got a 1.1/3 and 5.6 million viewers.

NBC was in fifth in ratings with a 0.9/3, and in viewers with 3.5 million. After a rerun, "And the Winner Is" at 9 got a 0.9/3 and 3.8 million viewers. "Hollywood Game Night" at 10 got a 1.3/4 and 3.9 million viewers.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and 1.5 million total viewers.

Airing an entire night of repeats, the CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.3/1 and 772,000 in total viewers.
