"Mad Men" returned with its Season 6 premiere Sunday night with numbers down slightly from its previous season premiere.
Sunday night's "Mad Men" drew 3.4 million total viewers, compared to 3.5 million for last season's premiere in March 2012 — at the time, a record for the series.

Compared to the Season 5 average for "Mad Men," Sunday's premiere was up 29 percent in total viewers, and up 30 percent in the demo.
In household ratings, the "Mad Men" premiere drew a 2.5 rating.
