Ratings: Miami Heat, and ABC, Are Champions

Game 7 of the NBA Finals dominated Thursday evening for ABC, while NBC's "Hannibal" season finale tied the show's all-time low

The Miami Heat won the NBA Championship and led ABC to a clear Thursday night win, according to preliminary numbers.

ABC's numbers are approximate due to the nature of live sports ratings. But a down-to-the-wire NBA Finals Game 7 helped ABC lead in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic with an average 7.1 rating/22 share. It also led in total viewers with 17.8 million.

At 8 p.m., "Jimmy Kimmel Live Game Night," earned a 3.2/12 and 9.1 million total viewers. At 8:30, the pregame show had a 4.5/15 and 11.6 million. The game itself scored an 8.7/26 and 21.6 million viewers.

Fox and Univision tied for second in the ratings with a 1.4/5, and Fox was third in total viewers with 3.7 million. At 8, Fox aired "Hell's Kitchen," which earned a 1.9/7 and 5 million viewers. At 9, "Does Someone Have To Go," brought in a 0.9/3 and 2.4 million viewers.

Univision was fourth in total viewers with 3.6 million.

Airing only repeats, CBS was fourth in the ratings with a 1.0/3 and second in total viewers with 5.9 million.

Telemundo was fifth in the ratings with a 0.7/2 and sixth in total viewers with 1.6 million.

NBC, airing repeats with the exception of "Hannibal," was sixth in the ratings with a 0.6 rating/2 share and fifth in total viewers with 1.8 million viewers. "Hannibal" had a .7/2 and 1.9 million total viewers, tying last week’s season low.

Finally, airing only repeats, the CW landed in seventh in the ratings and total viewers with a 0.3/1 and 0.9 million viewers.
