Ratings: ‘S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Drops, NBC Takes Tuesday With ‘Voice,’ ‘Chicago Fire’ Return

ABC’s Marvel spin-off hits new low

“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” fell to a new low Tuesday as NBC won in the ratings with the reunion of the night’s top show, “The Voice,” and “Chicago Fire.”

NBC had a 2.5 rating/7 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and was second in total viewers with an average of 8.5 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Biggest Loser” at 8 p.m. earned a 1.9/5 and 6.3 million viewers. “The Voice” at 9 received a 3.4/9 — the highest rating of the night — and 11.4 million viewers. “Chicago Fire” at 10 got a 2.2/6 and 7.8 million viewers after a two-week hiatus.

CBS was second in ratings with a 2.4/7 and first in total viewers with 15.5 million. “NCIS” at 8 earned a 2.9/8 and 19.2 million viewers — the most of the evening. “NCIS: Los Angeles” got a 2.4/6 — flat with last week, tying its season low — and 14.8 million viewers. “Person of Interest” at 10 had a 2.0/6 and 12.5 million viewers.

ABC was third in ratings with a 1.5/4 and in total viewers with 4.7 million viewers. “S.H.I.E.L.D.” at 8 earned a 2.2/6 — its lowest to date — and 6.6 million viewers. “The Goldbergs” at 9 received a 1.7/5 and 5.2 million viewers. “Trophy Wife” at 9:30 earned a 1.2/3 and 3.8 million viewers. An ABC News special, “Scandal for Real,” got a 0.8/2 and 2.8 million viewers.

Fox was fourth in ratings with a 1.4/4 and fifth in total viewers with 3.1 million. “Dads” at 8 earned a 1.2/4 and 3.2 million viewers. “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” at 8:30 received a 1.4/4 and 3.3 million viewers. “New Girl” at 9 got a 1.7/5 and 3.3 million viewers. “The Mindy Project” at 9:30 had a 1.3/4 and 2.6 million viewers.

Univision was in fifth in ratings with a 1.3/4 and fourth in viewers with 3.6 million.

The CW was sixth in ratings with a 1.1/3 and in total viewers with 2.4 million. “The Originals” at 8 earned a 1.1/3 and 2.4 million viewers. “Supernatural” at 9 got a 1.0/3 and 2.4 million viewers.

Telemundo was seventh in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in total viewers with 1.4 million.
