The premiere episode of FX's new private eye show "Terriers" on Wednesday night was watched by 1.6 million total viewers, 649,000 of whom were in the key adults 18-49 demographic, making it the network's lowest-rated drama debut ever.
"Terriers" stars "Tao of Steve's" Donal Logue and "True Blood" alum Michael Raymond-James as a pair of private detectives in San Diego. The show is executive produced by "The Shield" creator Shawn Ryan, Ted Griffin and Tim Minear.
FX will give "Terriers" another shot with an encore presentation following the next episode of "Sons of Anarchy" Tuesday, Sept. 14.
