Ratings: ‘The Voice’ Up 10% Over Premiere; Both ‘NCIS’ Series Hit Season Lows

Christina Aguilera and the gang snag the No. 1 spot once again, while the “NCIS” franchise takes a double dip

Last week's ratings for the debut of "The Voice" were no fluke.

Once again, NBC's singing competition took the top slot on Tuesday night, besting the previously dominant "Dancing With the Stars" for the second week in the row.

The show, airing at 9 p.m., received a 5.6 rating/14 share in the adults 18-49 demo — a 10 percent bump over the debut — and 12.3 million total viewers. (The show was preceded at 8 p.m. by "The Biggest Loser," which took a 2.6/8 in the demo and 7.3 million total viewers.)

The results episode of ABC's "Dancing" at 9 p.m., by contrast, tied for 4th place with CBS' "NCIS: Los Angeles," receiving a 2.9/7 in the demo and 15.6 million total viewers — the lowest ratings for the series this year excluding clips shows, and a 19 percent slide from the previous week's performance.

The bad news didn't stop there for ABC; "Body of Proof" the following hour matched its lowest rating to date with a 2.0/5 and 10.3 million total viewers. ("Dancing With the Stars: The Encore" at 8 receiving a 1.8/5 in the demo and 9.2 million total viewers.)

CBS' evening, meanwhile, was marked by a pair of season lows, with "NCIS" at 8 p.m. receiving a 3.5/10 in the demo and 17.3 million total viewers and "NCIS: Los Angeles" the following hour taking a 2.9/7 and 14 million total viewers.

The network's sole bright spot of the night resided in "The Good Wife" at 10 p.m., which enjoyed a 20 percent bump from its last original airing, with a 2.4/6 in the demo and 12.2 million total viewers.

Fox took the evening's second-highest ratings with "Glee" at 8 p.m, which took a 3.6/10 in the demo and 8.6 million total viewers, a 6 percent ratings bump from the previous week's performance. "Raising Hope" the following hour was also up 6 percent from last week, when it aired at 9:30, taking a 1.9/5 in the demo and 4.9 million total viewers. "Traffic Light" at 9:30 closed the evening with a 1.2/3 in the demo and 2.9 million total viewers.
