Who knew? Conservative icon Ronald Reagan and acting legend James Dean shared the screen back when the Gipper was still in Hollywood. A newly re-discovered TV episode of General Electric theatre called "The Dark, Dark Hours," from 1954 catches Dean and Reagan in an act off. Befitting their personae, Dean places a rebellious deliquent and Reagan is an upstanding doctor. "Rebel Without a Cause" it ain’t, but it’s still stirring stuff. Credit goes to "Late Show with Jimmy Fallon" writer Wayne Federman for unearthing the screen pairing.
