Reggie Watts and Tom Kenny, the voice actor of “SpongeBob SquarePants,” will be special guests on “HarmonQuest” Season 3. Streaming exclusively on WarnerMedia’s fandom-focused streaming platform VRV, the 10-episode season will premiere on Aug. 18 with new episodes being released every Sunday.

Produced by Universal Content Productions and Starburns Industries, “Harmon Quest” is a mix of adult animation and live improvisation. Created by Dan Harmon and longtime partner Spencer Crittenden, the series launched in 2016 on the now-defunct Seeso, NBC’s comedy-focused subscription video service, before moving to VRV for its second season.

“We had a blast filming this new season, and we have an awesome lineup of special guests who decided to quest with us,” Harmon, who is also serving as executive producer for the show, said. “I’m sure everyone is also very concerned about the future of Fondue, so fans will have to tune in to the premiere to find out what comes next!”

Other special guests for season three include Kate Micucci (“Steven Universe”) and D’Arcy Carden (“Barry,” “Broad City”), alongside actors and comedians Carl Tart, Jared Logan, Jessica McKenna, Joel Kim Booster, Matt Gourley, and Tawny Newsome.

“‘HarmonQuest’ perfectly blends comedy, improv, gaming, and animated storytelling,” Hillary Levi, creative executive at Crunchyroll and VRV, said. “The VRV community has been patiently waiting for the new season, and we’re excited to deliver that very soon!”
