Here’s Your First Look at ‘Rick and Morty’ Season 4 (Video)

Comic-Con: Featuring guest star Taika Waititi

Wubba lubba dub dub, “Rick and Morty” fans: we have your first look at the long-awaited fourth season of the Adult Swim comedy and it features the appearance of guest star of Taika Waititi. Well, it features his voice. Oh, you guys get it!

Co-creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon revealed earlier this week that Waititi was among several famous faces that would be lending their vocals to Season 4, along with Sam Neill, Paul Giamatti and Kathleen Turner.

See above for the clip introducing the “Thor: Ragnarok” director’s character, Glootie, and an “ominous beeping app” that Morty and Jerry are not fans of at all. The short video was revealed during the show’s San Diego Comic-Con panel Friday, which included a Q&A with Roiland and Harmon.

There is currently no premiere date set for “Rick and Morty’s” 10-episode Season 4, but we do know it’s coming in November — and that more will be coming later, as the animated series was renewed for 70 more episodes last May. When the show finally does return, it will have been over two years since the third season wrapped in October 2017.
