‘Riverdale’ Star KJ Apa Serenades Britt Robertson in New ‘I Still Believe’ Trailer (Video)

Biopic on Christian rock star Jeremy Camp opens in theaters March 13

The latest trailer for “I Still Believe,” the biopic based on the life of Christian rock star Jeremy Camp, shows the scope of “Riverdale” star KJ Apa’s romance with Britt Robertson — all starting with a serenade on the beach.

Camp’s love story with his fiancée Melissa Henning (Robertson) shows how he rose to fame as a singer and songwriter at a young age, just as his bride to be started to grow terminally ill. The film is meant to be an uplifting true-life story of Camp’s life and his journey to prove there is always hope.

“What if I’m not supposed to be healed,” Robertson asks Apa in the trailer. “Don’t say that,” he replies tenderly.

Apa and Robertson star in “I Still Believe” alongside Shania Twain and Gary Sinise. The film is directed by Andrew and Jon Erwin (“I Can Only Imagine”) based on a screenplay by Jon Erwin and Jon Gunn.

Camp has sold over five million albums and has toured all over the world. He has received four RIAA-certified Gold albums, two American Music Awards nominations, multiple ASCAP awards, 38 No. 1 songs, a gold digital single (“There Will Be A Day”), and a multi-platinum DVD.

You can see Apa and Robertson in “I Still Believe” on March 13 via Lionsgate.
