Animal Planet Renews ‘Rocky Mountain Bounty Hunters’ Season 2 (Exclusive)

Second run’s 10 episodes begin filming this fall

Escaped convicts beware: Animal Planet has renewed Season 2 of “Rocky Mountain Bounty Hunters.”

The second season, produced by ITV Studios America, will premiere in 2015 with 10 new episodes. Filming is slated to start in Montana and Idaho this fall.

Season 1’s six episodes debuted in April and averaged 766,000 viewers.

“Rocky Mountain Bounty Hunters” follows professional bounty hunter pairs Clint and Dayson in Colorado, and Rob and “Animal” in Montana as they patrol the treacherous landscape of the Rockies, tracking, chasing and capturing fugitives.

Throughout the series, the region’s most-wanted offenders, with a history of charges ranging from gun running to drug trafficking, attempt to evade the expert trackers.

Jerry Decker and Rob Shaftel are the executive producers for ITV Studios America. For Animal Planet, Lisa Lucas is the executive producer and Patrick Keegan is the producer. Animal Kurt Tondorf is the development executive for Animal Planet.
