Watch WWE Superstar Ronda Rousey’s First Scene on ‘9-1-1’ (Exclusive Video)

Turns out she’s a superstar first responder, too

Sound the alarm: Ronda Rousey makes her “9-1-1” debut on tonight’s episode of the Fox first-responder drama and TheWrap has an exclusive first look at at the WWE Superstar’s very first scene.

In the clip above, which is exclusive to TheWrap, you’ll see Buck (Oliver Stark) get distracted by a group of firefighters who respond to an emergency call on the Santa Monica Pier while he’s playing a carnival game with Christopher (Gavin McHugh).

One of the medics who comes to an unconscious mans aid is Lena Bosko (Rousey) and she’s the one responsible for saving him through some quick work.

The short scene clearly has an emotional effect on Buck, who is spending the day with Eddie’s (Ryan Guzman) 8-year-old son, Christopher, while sulking about the possibility he won’t be able to return to field work at Station 118.

“9-1-1” star Peter Krause recently told TheWrap about Rousey’s addition to the “9-1-1” cast for Season 3 and the serious finger injury she sustained while shooting tonight’s episode, “Sink or Swim.”

“She’s a firefighter and she’s brave, bold. You know, Ronda, perfect casting for the character of Lena Bosko,” Krause said. “And on our first day of filming with her in Mexico, she had to come charging out of the cabin of this yacht. And as she did, she flipped open the cabin door and simultaneously rest her hand where the frame of the door is and it came smashing down on her finger.”

“9-1-1” airs Mondays at 8/7c on Fox.
