“Roseanne” ruled once more on Tuesday, despite another round of double-digit ratings declines for the ABC revival.

Episode 3 of the new “Roseanne” received a 3.4 rating/15 share in the key adults 18-49 demographic, and posted 13.5 million total viewers. Those strong Nielsen numbers are down 12.8 percent and 10.6 percent, respectively, from the prior week — though that’s definitely not bad here.

With its hit sitcom, ABC again finished No. 1 in primetime averages in the key demo. CBS topped Tuesday’s overall audience tallies when counting all three hours from 8-11 p.m.

Over on Fox, the final season of “New Girl” premiered with a thud, bringing in just a 0.7/3 and 2 million viewers.

ABC was first in ratings with a 1.5 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic, but third in total viewers with an average of 5.9 million, according to preliminary numbers. Following “Roseanne,” 8:30’s “The Middle” put up a 1.9/8 and 7.5 million viewers. At 9, “Black-ish” had a 1.4/5 and 5.1 million viewers. “Splitting Up Together” at 9:30 got a 1.2/4 and 4.2 million viewers. At 10, “For the People” struggled to a 0.6/3 and 2.7 million viewers.

NBC was second in ratings with a 1.1/4 and in viewers with 6.2 million. “The Voice” at 8 landed a 1.3/5 and 7.7 million viewers. At 9, “Rise” received a 0.8/3 and 4.5 million viewers. “Chicago Med” at 10 closed primetime to a 1.1/5 and 6.4 million viewers.

CBS and Fox tied for third in ratings, both with a 0.8/3. CBS was first in total viewers with 6.9 million, Fox was fourth with 3.1 million.

For CBS, following a rerun, two-hour special “Elton John: I’m Still Standing, A Grammy Salute” averaged a 1.0/4 and 7.1 million viewers from 9-11 p.m.

For Fox, “Lethal Weapon” at 8 had a 0.8/4 and 4.1 million viewers. At 9, “LA to Vegas” got a 0.7/3 and 2.3 million viewers. “New Girl” aired next.

The CW was fifth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in viewers with 1.7 million. “The Flash” at 8 had a 0.6/3 and 1.8 million viewers. At 9, “Black Lightning” got a 0.5/2 and 1.6 million viewers.

Univision was sixth in ratings with a 0.5/2 and in viewers with 1.5 million.

Telemundo was seventh in ratings with a 0.4/2 and in viewers with 1.1 million.
