The tensions between Rosie O’Donnell and her estranged daughter Chelsea received a very public airing on Tuesday, after the 20-year-old gave a scathing interview to the Daily Mail, saying that she was pregnant — and that O’Donnell “will not be in my child’s life.”

“SMILF” actress O’Donnell then unleashed a flurry of tweets directed at her daughter.

“u want a public discussion – did they pay u again – how much this time? same same same chelsea,” one tweet read.

Another O’Donnell missive featured a picture of Chelsea at a Mac store, with the caption, “did u hate me this day? last year – at the apple store – was this b4 nick was arrested for beating u up? same same.”

Yet another tweet read, “we have been here before Chelsea u wanna go a few rounds in public seems so Michelle’s death = money 4 Chelsea.” That tweet included a link to a March 2017 post by O’Donnell which read, “My 19 year old daughter adopted by me at two months old was once again paid by ‘Inside Edition’ to talk about her life and me.”

“Michelle” is an apparent reference to Michelle Rounds, O’Donnell’s ex-wife, who died Sept. 11 at age 46. In the Daily Mail interview, Chelsea discussed Rounds’ relationship with O’Donnell and her death at length.

In her Twitter frenzy, O’Donnell also took Daily Mail reporter Martin Gould, who conducted the interview, to task, calling him a “cowardly old sh–” and linking to a 1997 article detailing an assault charge against him following a car chase in relation to a story while working for Star Magazine.

O’Donnell has discussed her strained relationship with Chelsea, who in August 2015, in the past. During an October 2015 stand-up routine, the actress told the audience,  “I love all of my kids … My daughter has been in the news. It’s been in the news, but it’s not news to the family. It’s been a decade long. As Mom, my wish is for love and peace and wait until it’s done.”
