Hulu is adding Elizabeth Hurley to the third season of “Marvel’s Runaways” as villain Morgan le Fay.

A student of Merlin, Morgan le Fay is considered the greatest sorceress of all time. With a black crow as her familiar and the ability to enchant objects, manipulate mystic energy and astral project, she is powerful and intelligent with a cut-throat wit.

“Elizabeth Hurley is joining the Marvel Universe and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her portraying one of the most enchanting Marvel characters,” Jeph Loeb, executive producer and head of Marvel Television, said.

Along with “Runaways,” Marvel TV is set to greatly expand its output on Hulu, with Marvel Studios taking ownership of the Marvel Cinematic Universe spinoffs slated for Disney+. Marvel TV has a four-series (plus a crossover special) animated deal, and a pair of live-action shows featuring Ghost Rider and Helstrom coming up for Hulu.

Marvel’s Runaways” is the story of six diverse teenagers who can barely stand each other but who must unite against a common foe — their parents. “Gossip Girl” and “The O.C.” duo Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage serve as showrunners and executive producers along with Loeb. Fake Empire’s Lis Rowinski serves as producer on the ABC Signature Studios co-production.

Hurley most recently starred in E!’s drama series “The Royals.” She is known mostly for her film roles, including the first “Austin Powers” movie and “Bedazzled.”
