‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Renewed for Season 10 on VH1

Season 9 premiere hauled in 987,000 total viewers, a new series record

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” has been renewed for Season 10 on VH1, the network announced Thursday.

The reality series has been a hit for VH1 since it moved over from Logo for its ninth season.

The Season 9 premiere hauled in 987,000 total viewers, a new series record. That sum doubled its Season 8 premiere and tripled VH1’s time slot average.

The show also broke its own Twitter engagement record, per Nielsen Social Content Ratings, trending worldwide throughout the telecast.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” is produced by World of Wonder Productions with Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, Tom Campbell, Steven Corfe, Mandy Salangsang and RuPaul Charles serving as executive producers. Tim Palazzola serves as executive producer for Logo.

The series airs Friday nights at 8 p.m. ET on VH1.
