Drama series premieres in January

A snake is on the loose in the first trailer for Ryan Murphy‘s Fox procedural, “9-1-1.”

The spot debuted on Fox during Game 3 of the World Series and features stars Angela Bassett, Connie Britton and Peter Krause as emergency responders.

The series, launching in January 2018, is a procedural drama that focuses on police, paramedics and firefighters as they try to save lives in shocking and frightening situations.

Tim Minear (“Feud,” “American Horror Story”) is onboard as executive producer and showrunner, and Bradley Buecker (“Glee,” “AHS”) is directing the series premiere and executive producing.

“9-1-1” hails from 20th Century Fox Television, in association with Ryan Murphy Television and Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision.

Murphy and Brad Falchuk, who are behind FX’s anthology series “American Horror Story,” wrote and executive produce the pilot for “9-1-1.” They co-created “9-1-1” with Minear.

Bassett and Alexis Martin Woodall are also executive producers.
