Did you want a PG-13 version of “Deadpool 2?” As you wish.

Ryan Reynolds shared the official poster for “Once Upon a Deadpool,” which Fox is releasing this holiday season as a re-cut version of their very R-rated superhero film from this summer.

Again, this film will be PG-13, meaning no strong language or violence that’s prolific in “Deadpool 2.” But Reynolds promises on his Instagram that this new version of the film is “a fairytale that gives zero F’s.” And on Twitter, he adds that the only F-word in the film is “Fred Aaron Savage.”

That’s “The Wonder Years” and “The Princess Bride” star Fred Savage, who appears on the poster for the film and also showed up in an image Reynolds teased earlier this year. “Once Upon a Deadpool” will feature a take on “The Princess Bride” as a framing device, with Deadpool reading a storybook to an all-grown-up Savage, still resting in a child’s bed and a Chicago Bears jersey just as in the interstitial scenes to Rob Reiner’s ’80s classic.

The film will have a limited theatrical run that starts on Dec. 12 and runs through Christmas Eve.

The R-rated sequel to “Deadpool,” directed by David Leitch and starring Josh Brolin, Zazie Beetz and Julian Dennison, pulled in $734.2 million for Fox earlier this year behind an 83 percent Fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes.
