Samantha Bee Launches ‘Apology Race’ to Tell World We’re Sorry for President Trump (Video)

In “Amazing Race” spoof, “Full Frontal” will send correspondents around the globe

Samantha Bee believes that the U.S. has a lot to apologize for since Donald Trump became president.

So “Full Frontal With Samantha Bee” announced this week that it will launch the “Apology Race” — an “Amazing Race”-like segment to dispatch correspondents around the world to say “sorry” to people for “every garbage thing” President Donald Trump has done so far.

In a video shared on the show’s social media channels on Tuesday, the TBS show announced that Amy Hoggart, Mike Rubens, Allana Harkins and Ashley Nicole Black would be among the stars racking up frequent-flier miles over the next two weeks to smooth over ruffled feathers since Trump took over the White House last year.

“His poor impulse control might force us to go apologize to Korea, the entire Muslim world or some rando,” Bee said in front of the New York City skyline in the one-minute teaser trailer.

“Full Frontal” fans can also suggest locations to send correspondents, by using the hashtag #ApologyRace.

Bee has been one of President Trump’s most outspoken critics. Along with other late night hosts, Bee continues to use her platform to spoof and to provide sharp and humorous takes on the current administration.
