Sarah Paulson has been cast in Ryan Murphy‘s new FX anthology series “Feud.”

“Excited to announce Sarah Paulson will be playing legendary Oscar-winner Geraldine Page in FEUD,” Murphy tweeted on Tuesday.

The series will focus on famous feuds, as the title suggests, with the first season focusing on Joan Crawford and Bette Davis’ animosity on the set of “What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?” Jessica Lange will star as Crawford and Susan Sarandon will play Davis. Catherine Zeta-Jones will play legendary actress Olivia de Havilland, who was a friend of Davis’ in real life.

Page was a contemporary of all three women and starred in such films as “Hondo,” “Toys in the Attic,” “Pete ‘n’ Tillie” and “The Rescuers.” She won an Academy Award for her role in “The Trip to Bountiful” in 1985.

Stanley Tucci will play famed studio boss Jack Warner on the series, while Alfred Molina will play film director Robert Aldrich. In addition, Dominic Burgess will appear as co-star Victor Buono, and Judy Davis will play famed gossip columnist Hedda Hopper.

Paulson and Murphy are frequent collaborators, with the actress having appeared in every season of “American Horror Story” to date, as well as “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.” Paulson has garnered five Emmy nominations to date for her work with Murphy.

Brad Pitt will executive produce the series under his Plan B Entertainment banner, along with producing partner Dede Gardner. Murphy will also serve as an executive producer on the series, with Sarandon and Lange also getting producer credits. Fox 21 Television Studios will produce.
