Sarah Paulson has joined the cast of M. Night Shyamalan’s “Glass,” the sequel to his 2000 hit “Unbreakable,” an individual with knowledge of the project told TheWrap.
The “American Horror Story” alum joins the previously announced cast of James McAvoy, Anya Taylor-Joy, Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson.
2000’s “Unbreakable” centered on a man (Willis) who learns he has an extraordinary abilities after an accident. Jason Blum, Marc Bienstock, Ashwin Rajan and Shyamalan are producing the follow-up.
Shyamalan took to Twitter on Monday morning to announce the news, writing, “Incredibly fortunate to round out our iconic cast of actors on #Glass… @MsSarahPaulson will be joining us. #powerhouse”
Paulson just wrapped filming “Ocean’s Eight,” which also stars Sandra Bullock, Mindy Kaling and Rihanna, and is currently working on Steven Spielberg’s “The Papers” opposite Tom Hanks. She’s also set to star in the seventh season of Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Story,” which will premiere in September.

Universal Pictures has slated the Blumhouse film to hit theaters on January 18, 2019.
