Kerry Washington‘s Olivia Pope and Tony Goldwyn‘s Fitz get hot and heavy in the new Season 5 trailer for ABC’s “Scandal.”
The new promo, which promises “Crazy, twisty goodness,” also teases a major plot development at its end.
Goldwyn, who plays President Fitzgerald Grant and whose love affair with Pope has been a backbone of the series, hands a paper to his wife, played by Bellamy Young, then says, “I want a divorce.”
The new season of “Scandal” premieres Sept. 24.
