Scarlett Johansson, Reese Witherspoon, Louis C.K. to Host Final ‘SNL’ Episodes of 40th Season

Musical guests will include Wiz Khalifa, Florence + the Machine and Rihanna

Louis C.K. will host the season finale of “Saturday Night Live” on May 16, while Reese Witherspoon and Scarlett Johansson will also host one episode each in the run-up to the conclusion of the 40th anniversary season, NBC announced Thursday.

Johansson will make her fourth “SNL” hosting appearance on May 2, one day after the opening of “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” She will be joined by musical guest Wiz Khalifa, who will be making his debut on the classic late night sketch show.

On May 9, Witherspoon will make her second appearance on “SNL” to promote “Hot Pursuit,” joined by musical guest Florence + the Machine, their third time on stage at Studio 8H.

On May 16, Louis C.K. will host the season finale episode with musical guest Rihanna. It will be his third time as host as he promotes his FX comedy “Louie” and his “Louis C.K. Live at the Comedy Store” special.
