Schwarzenegger Tells CAA He’s Open for Business

Former governor tweets that he’s ready to return to showbiz

No longer responsible for a state budget that's about $25 billion short on funds, Arnold Schwarzenegger tweeted Thursday that he wants to return to a motion picture business that's down about 28 percent year-to-year at the box office.

Yep, he's … wait for it … back.

"Exciting news," the former California governor tweeted Thursday. "My friends at CAA have been asking for 7 years when they can take offers seriously. Gave them the green light today."

Outside of a few cameos — including last summer's Lionsgate hit "The Expendables" — the 64-year-old actor hasn't had a starring role since 2003's "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines."
